Although Apple TV+ is going ahead with the launch of “Emancipation,” after the altercation with Chris Rock at the Oscars in 2022, the company lost interest in other projects involving Smith, such as his biopic, for which he had made an offer. before.

Till date, Apple TV + had obtained good reviews and even awards at various events with the films chosen for its catalog. This year, the acclaimed film CODA, won two Oscar statuettes, such as Best Picture of the Year, Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur and Best Adapted Screenplay for Siân Heder.
