A new course for a family in difficulty
To the surprise of the public, the third season of The Umbrella Academy will be presented on June 22. Which means Netflix will change its traditional premiere day (Fridays) to a new one. The reason? Most likely, the platform will try to ensure that the popularity of the series does not tarnish the return of another of its flagship programs. the long awaited fourth season of stranger things It will arrive in two parts in the middle of this year.
The first will air on May 27 and the second on July 1. Which means that new episodes of The Umbrella Academy they would be practically caught between the two events. So it’s obvious that Netflix has taken steps to keep the two TV events separated by nine days. This shows the importance of series for the catalog of the subscription service.
And the reasons abound. The series, which began as a small-scale adaptation of the comic book of the same name, has grown into a public event. One that only grows and becomes more and more intriguing. In fact, the synopsis for the third season indicates that the series will be moving to unknown and more exciting places. On the one hand, the members of the Academy will have to face the dilemma of the Apocalypse — another — while trying to understand their place in the world. Also, the existence of the Sparrow Academy will undoubtedly be one of the most complex points of the new chapters. After all, this is a version – with its own powers and conflicts – of the already complicated Hargreeves family.
“Smart, graceful, and as warm as a sea of icebergs, the sparrows immediately confront the umbrellas in a violent confrontation that turns out to be the least of everyone’s worries. Navigating the challenges, losses, and surprises that are their own – and faced with a destructive entity, an unidentified woman wreaking havoc on the universe (something they may have caused) – now all they have to do is convince the new and maybe dad’s best family to help them fix what their arrival has done wrong.”

On the one hand, a sudden trip back in time that took the family to different years of the 1960s. On the other hand, faced with the consequences of the shady actions of The Commission.
The two things together took the story to new places. In particular, faced with the need for the Hargreeves to rebuild their family ties and even, find your identity. This, beyond the pressure of a violent and demanding father, in addition to the expectations they had to meet.
