Kirby will hold a free concert to commemorate his 30th birthday

Kirby’s 30th Anniversary Concert

In the absence of ten days for the launch of the new game of the franchise, Kirby and the Forgotten Land for Nintendo Switch, the company has decided to celebrate the success of the saga with a concert dedicated to the soundtrack who has accompanied Kirby for 30 years.

When and where to see the Kirby concert

After the concert organized by Nintendo in 2017 to commemorate the 25-year history of the saga Kirby, everything indicated that the tribute to the songs on the pink balloon would end there. However, we learned today that the company will be holding another concert to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise.

The next concert will take place on August 11, 2022 and will be streamed on Kirby’s official YouTube channel free. This was announced by the company via the game’s official page:

“To commemorate Kirby’s 30th anniversary, we will host a music festival featuring an ensemble of 35 musicians performing a wide variety of genres. This is a musical event in which you can enjoy the original melodies of the old titles of the franchise with which your head will be filled with memories. There will also be a huge LED screen in the arena with dancing Kirby! We hope it will be a great festival to celebrate together.

In addition to the concert, Japan decided to celebrate Kirby’s 30th birthday with a collection of medals inspired by the game which will be available on April 30 in the Japanese My Nintendo store. Hopefully we can see these medals in stores around the world soon.
