Netflix has confirmed that its series live action from resident Evilwhich has been talked about so much in recent years, It will be released on June 14. This is of course an original production that reinforces the platform’s commitment to series and films based on video games.

The series is called resident Eviland It will take place in 2036.; some 14 years after the bloody manifestation left by the T virus. On this occasion, we will walk in the footsteps of Jade Wesker, its protagonist; who must fight for survival in a world devoured by bloodthirsty beings, some more terrible than others.
In this utter carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City; because of his dad’s creepy dealings with the Umbrella Corporation, but mostly because of what happened to his sister, Billie.
Of course, if you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll know that Jade’s last name is quite familiar. In this new adaptation, the protagonist will be the very daughter of the iconic and infamous Albert Wesker; a figure who has served as a villain both in video games, as well as in the various big screen adaptations thereof.

On another side, Netflix has released several posters to accompany information about your adaptation of resident Evil. In the artwork we can see the logo that will accompany the series; as well as flashy and familiar elements from the franchise.
The images show a fairly bright yellow background. In one of them we have a vial of blood, who also scores as positive for the T virus. The other, on the other hand, shows us a yellow and red pill with the word “Joy” on one of its faces. Also, we see what appears to be the Umbrella Corporation logo. The two elements appear surrounded by blood bubbles on the posters, imagery quite common in the saga resident Evil.
According to the media IGN, the series will be split into two different timelines. In one of them, we will have Jade and Billie together during their childhood; while the other offers a vision of a lonely Jade decades after the T virus epidemic in the world.
In the first timeline, fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker are transferred to New Raccoon City; a manufactured, corporatist city, imposed on them even as they are teenagers. But the more time they spend there, the more they realize that the city is more than it seems; and that his father may be hiding dark secrets. Secrets that could destroy the world.
The second timeline will take place decades after the global apocalypse. In this one we will have Jade Wesker as the protagonist Trying to survive no matter what in this new world; as he seeks to unlock the secrets of his family past.
There are less than fifteen million people left on Earth. And over six billion monsters: people and animals infected with the T. Jade virus, now in their 30s, struggle to survive in this New World; while the secrets of her past – about her sister, her father and herself – continue to haunt her.
The cast of resident Evil will be composed of Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker. Also, next to him are Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuñez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti and Turlough Convery. Andrew Dabb, for his part, will be responsible for serving as showrunnerco-writing all eight episodes of the adaptation with Mary Leah Sutton.
