private browser beta is coming to mac

DuckDuckGo has launched its own private browser on Mac, and it could become a threat to Chrome and Safari’s hegemony. DuckDuckGo has evolved from a simple search engine to something it describes as “fast, private and secure”. For the time being, the app is in private beta statusand if you want to test it, you’ll need to access it through a list first.

This new browser offers much cleaner navigation. This is why DuckDuckGo on Mac will allow us to block web trackers, delete browsing data thanks to its buttonFire“; and block annoying cookie warnings that appear each time you access a website for the first time.

DuckDuckGo promises to clean up to 50% of the sites you visit. In turn, it also offers ways to block internet cookie tracking. In this way, they not only favor cleaner and more user-friendly browsing, but also more secure and private.

As confirmed by Allison Goodman, Director of Communications at DuckDuckGo, for The edgethe company anticipates that this 50% coverage grow as the beta progresses of the candidacy.
