The April 2022 security patch is now rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.
For some time, Samsung has become one of the first manufacturers to update its terminals with both new versions of Android and the most recent security patchesbringing all these novelties to all its ranges of mobile devices.
A good proof of this is that earlier this month Samsung already updated its new flagships Galaxy S22 with the latest security patch and now we have just learned that the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is already receiving the April 2022 Android update.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE gets April 2022 update
As Android Authority predicted, Samsung has started updating its 2021 affordable high-end smartphone, the Galaxy S20 FE, with the latest Android security patch in select regions such as Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnamalthough it is very likely that it will reach other regions very soon, including Spain.
This new update reaches the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with firmware version G780GXXS3CVC4 and includes the April 2022 security patch, which fixes over 80 privacy and security vulnerabilities and improves device stability and fluidity.
If you are a user of a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in one of the countries listed above and want to check if you already have this update, all you have to do is access the Settings from your terminal and click on the option Software update.
If you already have it available, just click the button Download and install to update your smartphone with the latest Android security patch.
